Hello,

First of all, thanks for your support to all of us with problems in USB drives.

I recently used PHISON MPALL to allow more than one partition in my PATRIOT SUPERSONIC MAGNUM 128Gb (VID: 13FE, PID: 5000).

The problem is, with the configuration used in MPALL my device changed from MODE3 to MODE7, and that change made the PID number different. It changed from the original 5000 to 5027.

That was my first test with the USB drive and I did not configure it as I wanted. The USB drive still works but now PHISON MPALL does not detect it. I have tried all the versions even the newest v3.63.0D and v3.63 PS2251-67. I have also tried the Phison Formatter v2.10.0.4 and a previous version of this utility. None of them detect my USB drive.

Does anyone knows a solution for this?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Thanks for the link. The only problem is that the memory controller pins are not visible ( you can see it at http://www.thessdreview.com/featured/patriot-supersonic-magnum-256gb-usb-3-flash-drive-review-incredible-gaming-on-a-flash-drive/2/?ModPagespeed=noscript ). I opened the device to check it.

I think it won't be possible to bridge the neccessary pins as I cannot access them.

In any case, many thanks for the info

For the test mode, use the contact pads on the PCB for memory chips in a TSOP48 package.
You can also try this or this utility.
