AlcorMP(130205.MD) - 4,9Mb. AU6985,87,89,90,98

Check ICC AlcorMicro base recovered USB FlashDrive, the file ICCA_2013-08-07xls.rar to find the code controller e.g., 0xE001 = AU6998 (N), then FID.

0xE001, SC908\AU6998N, ~ AlcorMP(120817.eD3) \ AlcorMP_v1.0.0.14 \ AlcorMP(12хххх)

0xCA03, SC708(FC8708)/AU6987/AU6990, FID ADD7949A, ~ AlcorMP(120210.MD) \ AlcorMP_v1.0.0.14

To determine the flash equipment, in addition to ChipGenius desirable to use Flash Drive Infirmation Extractor ...

Thanks a lot for your info, thats exactly what i wanted, to learn the process but....

SC708(FC8708)/AU6987/AU6990 - F/W 8D91 is not Hynix H27UCG8U5ATR CE:2 MLC DUAL as the xls says but H27UBG8T2ATR

When I use AlcorMP(120210.MD) I get error   write initial bad block table error.Bad block: 0/1024(B), i am almost sure that the flash is not faulty since It went bad when i tried an alcor program
When I use AlcorMP(1.0.0.14)_L0130 I get ctl error. I tried to manually setup AU6987(HL) but I cannot find it in the vendor info.
and I have one more question the vid and pid shown I am sure are totally corrupted by my tries, I don't remember the first value when the flash was working. Does it matter and if so do I have to load first the driver and with what values since I don't remember the vid and pid.

A huge thanks for your explanations

nat27

USB Device ID: VID = 058F PID = 6387 is the default value for the controller ALCOR. It is always recommended to use them, except when used MPTool from the manufacturer, for example,
Transcend JetFlash USB Device ID: VID = 8564 PID = 1000.

The table xls ICC Alcor Micro are reversals of USB Flash Drive with a particular hardware controller (Chip Code) and memory (Flash ID). By Chip Code selected year MPTool, for example AlcorMP (10xxxx) \ (13xxxx), and in Flash ID specialty tools, such as, 16k \ eD3 \ Samsung 21n, etc.

error write initial bad block table error.Bad block: 0/1024 (B) happens when there is no *.bin-files in the utility, you need to take a different version of the utility. Sometimes it is necessary to review all the possible versions of the utilities.
