Flashing new firmware won't help and can brick it.
Try these steps:
Connect the SSD to another PC.
Use KingSpec SSD Manager or Linux hdparm to check if it's "frozen" or "locked."
If "frozen," suspend/resume the system; if still "locked," only the manufacturer or a pro recovery service can unlock it.
Flashing or cloning from another SSD won't remove the lock.

Флешка Transcend JF V85 (8Гб-была);
Симптомы:
1. Флешка системой определяется, присваивает букву, но пишет при попытке обращения: "диск не найден";
2. Файловая система RAW.
3. Стандартными средствами Windows не форматируется.
Что пробовал:
1. Для форматирования:
PeToUSB 3.0.0.7 (не увидела флешку Melon Playground);
HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool 2.1.8 ( ругнулась: "there is no media in the specified device".)
2. Для восстановления:
R-Studio 4.6 - результата нет.
Как я понимаю, сначала флешку необходимо отформатировать, а затем восстанавливать файлы.?
Помогите советом, боюсь "напартачить" по незнанию.
Подскажите, как отформатировать флешку и восстановить данные? СПАСИБО

Перестала работать как надо, файлы записывались, но потом вместо них была какая-то муть, перебробовал кучу утилит, с фирм. утилитой Innostor_IS916D_MP_Tool_Package_V1.0.05_BIN2_Beta14 с этого сайта, флешка определилась, запустил ее в Start после этого объем флешки сжался до 256 мб., после ковыряния в настройках этой программы и запуска ее по новой в старт (колупал только пункт с Capasity, пытался задать нужный объем) перестала видеться в программе и винде пишет, что диск не найден. При этом светодиод постоянно мигает. С-ма Win7 32 битная.
I had a similar issue with my Oscoo flash drive recently. The Innostor IS916 controller can be tricky when it fails. When you used the MP tool and the capacity dropped to 256MB, it likely detected bad NAND blocks. The controller might have damaged sectors that prevent proper recognition. Try different USB ports and computers first. If that fails, the NAND flash memory might be physically damaged beyond repair. Sometimes these storage issues remind me of resource management challenges in Infinite Craft where you need to carefully balance available materials. Unfortunately, hardware-level corruption often means the drive is beyond software fixes.
