Kingston Datatraveler 200 128Gb - Counterfeit Flash Drive
Hi Everybody,
I am very grateful to those who can help me with my fake flash drive that i bought from China.
I read all the most important steps and instructions to do the "reflash"on it, but i cannot find any tool for this purpose.
From the benning where i received the flash drive and plugin to the USB port of my computer, i have only the information: "Removable Disk", no size and no formatted. Tried to format in OS Windows XP Professional, but at the end a Windows message "Windows was unable to complete the format".
Ran the application Chipgenius and the result is described below:
Device Name: +[D:]+USB Mass Storage Device(Generic Flash Disk 2.0 USB Device)
PnP Device ID: VID = 5136 PID = 4678
Serial Number: 5&&181948BB&&0&&3
Revision: 2.60
Device Type: Standard USB device - USB2.0 High-Speed
Chip Vendor: (No match record)
Chip Part-Number: (No match record)
Product Vendor: Generic
Product Model: Flash Disk 2.0
Tools on Web: (N/A)
Because the Chipgenius it could not identify the Chip Vendor and the Chip Part-Number, i opened physically the flash drive and got it this information:
Dynet D27UAG8t2mtr 16G - 902AG
MW8209 - IPM471131-5 / FGH*TS10Y11
Search for the appropriate tool, only the Ameco_MW8209_6208E_1.1.1.5_20091015 application was able to recognize the flash drive,
but i could not determine the correct model and size of it. Also tried the manual select, but no option for this model flash.
Is there any new version or other tool that can reflash this one?
Thanks in advance and Kind regards.
